My Story

For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for high fantasy and the cultures of my ancestors - the Celtic, Vikings, German, and English. As I found my fantasy community, I loved attending Renaissance Fairs and other costume events, but struggled to find costume-wear that was modest, sustainable, and historically accurate.

I was done missing out on events because I couldn't find clothing I was satisfied with. I refused to compromise my values by shopping fast fashion or opting for less modest pieces. But it seemed like that trifecta of perfect qualities (modest, sustainable, and historically accurate) would elude me everywhere I shopped. So, I decided to become the solution to my own problem.

I began to craft pieces that I loved for my friends, and then for myself. The fulfillment that I felt in creating my ideal product, the confidence I feel when wearing my own handiwork, and the deepening I felt in my passions for sewing and historical fashion led me to launch Tinctures, Odds, & Ends. I am excited to be offering my pieces to the world, with so much love and intention behind them!
